9/4/2023 0 Comments Satellite images of earth(1/2) Global False Colour Composite mosaic generated by NRSC/ISRO using images from Ocean Colour Monitor on EOS-06 Mosaic with 1 km spatial resolution combines 2939 images after processing 300 GB of data to show Earth as seen during Feb 1-15, 2023. Oceansat-3 is a type of nanosatellite that was deployed by ISRO in November 2022, as a component of a larger grouping of satellites focused on the field of oceanography and atmospheric research. ISRO has stated that the images provide information about global vegetation cover on land and ocean biota, with the OCM able to sense the Earth in 13 distinct wavelengths. The data for these first images was collected by SWOT’s KaRIn instrument, the scientific heart of the satellite. Different continents are visible in separate colours due to variations in wavelengths. The pictures were created by combining 2,939 images and processing 300 GB of data to create a mosaic with a spatial resolution of 1 km. The images, which were taken using the Ocean Colour Monitor (OCM), show every continent and feature the planet as it appeared between February 1 and 15, 2023. Color-enhanced VIIRS image from NOAA-20 taken at 12:34 pm ET on February 24, 2022. At the National Air and Space Museum I use. From about 500 miles above the Earth, the NOAA-20 satellite can tell a lot about the lakes, including areas of lake ice, phytoplankton blooms and water temperatures. The Indian Space Research Organisation ( ISRO) has released stunning images of Earth taken by the Earth Observation Satellite (EOS-06), also known as Oceansat-3. Most people know that satellites in orbit do useful things such as collect images of the Earths surface.
